Warning signs
An employer asks for money upfront, a bond or a “registration fee” to get you work. Pay is cash only with no payslips. You’re asked to hand over your passport. Accommodation costs are deducted from your pay without a written agreement. If you see any of these, don’t take the job and report the listing.
